Your cone, the cars parked at it, one big button.

The office assigns each staff member a cone, so the phone opens straight on it. A phone with no cone assigned shows every cone with a row of chips to pick one, and remembers the choice.

Everything on this screen is large, high-contrast and readable in full sun.

At the cone lists the cars parked at your cone: family name, the kids and their grades, which door they come out of, and the car as the family described it. A new arrival makes a short sound if the sound toggle is on.

If a car is parked at your cone and not on the screen, the parent has no signal or no link. Load them from the hanging tag as always and call it on the radio; the office can add the car.

When the kids are in the car, tap Loaded. The card moves to the Loaded list and the parent's phone says "Loaded, drive safely". The tap is recorded with your name and the time; nothing is ever overwritten.

Tapped the wrong car? Undo within 10 seconds puts it back. Parents can also tap Got them on their own phone, which does the same thing.

The phone keeps today's list and every tap on the device. If the Wi-Fi at the cones goes away, the screen says Offline with the time it last synced, taps queue up, and they send themselves the moment it is back. A tap is never lost silently.

Meanwhile the radio and the tags carry the line, as they always have.

A sun toggle flips the whole screen to a high-contrast outdoor palette, on by default during pickup hours. The sound toggle beeps when a new car arrives at your cone.
